Parañaque personnel visit sister city in California

Personnel of the Parañaque government visited its sister city Carson in California to further strengthening the ties between the two local governments.

The Parañaque delegation is composed of Cultural, Historical, and Tourism Promotions Division Head Melquiades Alipo-on and City Planning and Development Coordinator’s Office Head Engr. Benigno Rivera Jr., who represented Mayor Eric Olivarez, and Eva Nono, who represented Rep. Edwin Olivarez.

They delivered the mayor’s message of support to the officials of Carson City led by Mayor Lula Davis-Holmes, and expressed his hope to continue to strengthen their cultural and socio-economic partnerships.

They also presented Davis-Holmes a certificate expressing their gratitude to her, and a coffee table book titled, “Parañaque: Mega City by the Bay.”

Parañaque and Carson officials have been regularly exchanging official visits and communications since they signed a sister cities agreement in 2017.
