Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon welcomed Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koshikawa Kazuhiko when the latter paid a visit to the Japanese Cemetery in the city.
Koshikawa was accompanied by Yokoyama Shigeo, the grandchild of an Imperial Japanese Army Lieutenant General in World War II, and guests Suzuki Shigeri and Maruyama Keiichi.
They came to the Japanese cemetery to pay their respects to the Japanese soldiers who died in World War II.
Koshikawa thanked the city for maintaining the Japanese Cemetery.
Biazon also accompanied the officials when they visited the Museo ng Muntinlupa, where they learned about the history and culture of the city.
