Businesses are so back in Pasig City.
Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto said business permit renewals in Pasig have hit pre-pandemic levels.
For 2023, business permit renewals number 21,523, up from the 18,523 in 2022.
Sotto said half of the local government’s income comes from business taxes.
The processing of business permit renewals has also improved this year, he said.
Next year, there will be more business one stop shop centers to process these permits, he said.
