Navotas Mayor John Rey Tiangco thanked Undersecretary Samuel Young of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development for visiting the city to check out its housing projects.
Tiangco showed Young the houses that the city had constructed for residents as well as the sites of its forthcoming housing projects.
These include the 5.6-hectare NavotaAs Homes III-Tanza.
They also visited the area in Brgy. Navotas West and BBN that was hit by a fire in December.
Tiangco said he plans to put up new homes for the affected families with the help of the DHSUD.
“Magiging katuwang po natin ang DHSUD sa pagsasakatuparan ng ating pangarap na bagong bahay, bagong buhay para sa mga pamilyang Navoteño,” he said.
