The Light Rail Transit Authority has released the guidelines for the bringing of furbabies inside its trains and stations, which it earlier said would be allowed beginning February 1.
The LRT-2 management said only one small dog and cat per passenger is allowed to travel free of charge.
The pet should be in an enclosed cage or carrier 2 x 2 feet in size. Pets in strollers would not be allowed.
The carrier must not occupy an extra seat in the train.
The pet must be wearing a diaper, and must be subject to inspection. The owner must present the pet’s vaccination card.
The passenger owner and the pet will only be allowed to board the last or end coach of the train.
Feeding the pet inside the station or train is strictly prohibited.
