Emi Calixto-Rubiano is on cloud nine as Pasay City is recognized for its local literacy projects.
“Congratulations sa ating lahat dahil muli na naman tayong nagawaran ng award at pagkilala sa katatapos lang na National Literacy Awards bilang 2nd Place sa Highly Urbanized City Category,” the mayor said.
She proudly held up a giant check worth P80,000, a reward to sustain the city’s efforts to improve reading and writing skills among young residents.
