Francis Zamora is flourishing in politics under the Marcos Jr. administration.
The San Juan mayor has been elected as the new president of the Metro Manila Council and as co-chairperson of the NCR Regional Development Council. He replaces former Parañaque Mayor Edwin Olivarez, who held the post from 2019-2022.
“Thank you very much to all our Metro Manila Mayors, MMDA Chairman Don Artes and the heads of the MMVL and MMCL for the trust and confidence!,” the politiko said.
“Very much excited to take on these new responsibilities for the development of the National Capital Region! Mabuhay ang Metro Manila at ang Pilipinas,” he added.
