Parañaque Rep. Edwin Olivarez has started accepting applications for educational assistance for indigent college students.
Indigent college students who are currently enrolled could submit their requests to Olivarez’ office.
“Kailangan lamang dalhin ng mga aplikante sa ating tanggapan ang mga requirements upang patunayang sila ay naka-enroll sa kasalukuyan at mula sa indigent families,” Olivarez’ office said.
This is open to residents from Parañaque’s first and second district.
The requirements for the application are an application letter, a valid ID, a barangay certificate of indigency, registration form/certificate of enrollment/certificate of matriculation.
They must also not be receiving any other scholarship assistance.
They would also need to present their validated student ID or Certificate of Non-Issuance of ID from the school, the voter’s ID or voter’s certificate showing they are from Parañaque, a government issued ID if the student would get the educational assistance himself, or an authorization letter if a representative would get the assistance.
