The Muntinlupa City government has put up more security outposts along the National Road and the city’s boundaries as part of efforts to improve peace and order measures.
This came amid claims about kidnapping in the city, which turned out to be untrue.
The city government said Mayor Ruffy Biazon had early on ordered the police to increase their visibility, and had also directed the Public Order and Safety Office and City Security Office to increase roving operations to keep Muntinlupa safe.
The new security outposts are located at the City Alternate Route Entry and Exit, the guard house of Pleasant Ville, Bayanan, Soldier’s Hills, Putatan, Soldier’s Hills Caltex, and National Road, Putatan, it said.
More outposts would be set up in the coming days, it said.
