MMDA advises motorists to prepare for traffic disruption in Ortigas and Mandaluyong for Sept. 30 ADB meet

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has advised motorists to plan their trips and prepare for traffic disruptions in the Ortigas and Mandaluyong areas on September 30 because of the annual Asian Development Bank meeting.

The MMDA said traffic flow could be disrupted along EDSA, from Magallanes to Ortigas, and along Julia Vargas Avenue, ADB Avenue, San Miguel Avenue, Guadix Drive, Bank Drive, and Saint Francis Street, when the delegates’ convoys pass by.

It also said 500 MMDA personnel would be deployed in the area along with police personnel and other security forces.

They would help manage traffic in the ADB dedicated-routes, he said.

“Iwasan ang lugar upang maiwasan ang abala,” it added.
