PH Ambassador to Korea visits Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna
Philippine Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Ma. Theresa Dizon-De Vega paid a courtesy call to Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna on Tuesday.
The two officials discussed a plan to forge a sister city agreement with South Korea’s capital Seoul.
Manila already has a sister city agreement with Incheon, which was signed in October 2008.
De Vega also said there are job opportunities in South Korea available to Filipinos through the Employment Permit System
Currently, there are 50,128 Filipino workers in South Korea as of July 2022, mostly working in manufacturing, she said.
