Marcos, Cabinet meet to talk 2023 budget

President Fredinand Marcos Jr. will be holding a special cabinet meeting today, July 29, according to Malacañang.
His fourth Cabinet meeting will focus on the 2023 budget, the Office of the Press Secretary said in a message.
Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles added that it will start at 9 a.m.
Marcos Jr. led his first Cabinet meeting on July 5 where they primarily focused on the economy and the need to increase the rice and corn production to address an impending food crisis.
On July 12, the President convened the second Cabinet meeting by teleconference and covered the need to develop the nation’s tourist industry through better policies and infrastructure.
The Marcos Cabinet met for the third time on July 19 to discuss the government’s education and social welfare programs.
