NCRPO signs peace deal with Muslim community in Quiapo

The National Capital Region Police Office is continuing with its efforts to reach out to Muslim communities.

The NCRPO’s Office of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) signed a peace covenant and held a dialogue with the Muslim community in Quiapo on Wednesday.

It also distributed food packs and provided hot meals to the residents.

The event was part of the observance of the 27th Police Community Relations Month Celebration with the theme “Ugnayang Pulisya at Komunidad Tungo sa Mapayapa, Maayos at Maunlad na Pamayanan.”

Manila Police District Director Brig. Gen. Leo Francisco, who was at the event, underscored the importance of unity between the police and the Muslim community in achieving peace.

NCRPO chief Maj. Gen. Felipe Natividad, in his message read by RCADD chief Col. Romy Palgue, thanked the Muslim communities for participating in the programs of the police force.
