San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora also declares June 30 a holiday
It is not just the city of Manila that will have a non-working holiday for the incoming president’s inauguration.
San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora has followed suit and issued Executive Order 125 declaring June 30 a special non-working holiday in the city.
Zamora said this was to ensure the safety of all citizens and ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
He noted that the Philippine National Police had asked local governments to declare June 30 a holiday to help lessen public inconvenience due to road closures and possible protest actions.
Marcos will be inaugurated at the National Museum in Manila.
