Charisse Abalos-Vargas is letting go of her long stint at the National Movement for Young Legislators (NMYL).

The Mandaluyong councilor is leaving politics after three terms in the city.

“Our NMYL term ended so soon! Wracked with the pandemic, our plans were stalled or cancelled. But as this would be our last event of our term, I’m so proud to say that it has been a huge success!!!! We at least ended with a bang!,” the politiko said.

She handed over the leadership to new President Love Baronda, and Chairman Jolo Revilla.

“Thank you also to have been awarded the Young Leaders Award for Exemplary Performance for COVID-19 Response—Local Legislators Category,” she added.
