Marikina Rep. Stella Luz Quimbo has made a recap of her performance as a neophyte lawmaker in the 18th Congress.

“It wasn’t easy to be a neophyte legislator, but with genuine intentions to serve the people and God’s guidance, everything is possible,” said Quimbo in a social media post.

Quimbo has filed 358 bills of which 222 were passed by Congress. She also filed 86 resolutions.

Among the measures she filed and became laws were the Bayanihan 2, the COVID-19 Vaccination Program Act, amendments to the Retail Trade Liberalization Act, amendments to the Foreign Investments Act, Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises Act (CREATE) law, and Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Law.

Quimbo won in the recently concluded election as a Representative of the second district of Marikina City.
