The Pasig City government has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the glitches in PasigPass, its QR Code contact tracing system.

The problems have since been fixed.

The local government said an issue with the system prevented users from reciving their one-time passwords via text message, which in turn prevented them from logging on to their accounts or creating new accounts.

This was immediately reported to the technical team, which acted on the issue and fixed the problem, it said.

“The issue with the system has been resolved and all PasigPass features are now accessible. Users can now receive their OTPs,” it said.

It also assured users that their personal data have not been compromised.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” it added.
