Valenzuela inaugurates its biggest barangay hall
Valenzuela’s new barangay hall dwarfs all other barangay halls in the city.
Mayor Rex Gatchalian led the inauguration of the Marulas Barangay Hall.
Marulas is Valenzuela’s second largest barangay with a population of 80,000. but it will have the largest barangay hall in the city, said Gatchalian.
“Potentially this can be one of the largest barangay halls in the country. It is modern, complete, and ready to serve the growing population of Marulas,” he said on Facebook.
The barangay hall was designed by the city’s in-house architect Glenn Encarnacion.
Gatchalian said that for the longest time, Marulas did not have its own barangay hall and was using a lot owned by the Diocese of Malolos.
But now the barangay has a home to call its own, courtesy of the cooperation of Valenzuela officials, he said.
He also thanked the barangay officials and the Diocese of Malolos for helping see the project through.
