Vico Sotto is happy to see Pasig residents out of their homes and enjoying public events two years since the local COVID-19 outbreak.

“First Day of our People’s Street in Lopez Jaena Sumilang. Nakakatuwang makita ang mga tao, (lalo na mga bata) na malayang nagzuzumba, naglalaro, o kahit nagkukuwentuhan lang sa mga open spaces/kalsada natin,” the young mayor of Pasig City said.

Barring any further surges in cases, the politiko said more open public spaces like this may soon arise.
