Thanks to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, a school in Mandaluyong will be able to improve its facilities using campaign materials.

The MMDA donated the campaign tarpaulins and posters it had collected to the Addition Hills Integrated School.

The school had appealed for donations of tarpaulins, papers, and other recyclable materials.

These would be exchanged for cash that it it would use to upgrade its science laboratory.

“Ayon kay AHIS Principal Gigi Bullanday, ang mga recyclables ay ipapalit sa points na may katumbas na cash na kanilang gagamitin sa improvement ng kanilang science laboratory,” the MMDA said on Facebook.

The MMDA launched Operation Baklas 2022 with the Commission on Elections after the conclusion of the May 9 polls.

They took down campaign materials that were placed on posts, trees, power cables, and internet and telephone lines.
