Vico Sotto found a way to provide retirement benefits even to decades-long job order workers of the Pasig City Government.

Not only has he endeavored to regularize long-time casual workers, he’s also giving retirement pay for their service.

“Pag retire ng J.O. kadalasan “t.y.” na lang. Ngayon, meron na tayong retirement benefits o “gratuity pay” na 10K per yr as J.O. Ito ay pasasalamat ng LGU sa serbisyo nila- marami sa kanila ay sweeper, PHA (dating BHW),” the politiko said.

So far, 158 retirees have availed of the benefit. The mayor could not be happier.
