No number coding, no Pasig River Ferry Service on May 9, says MMDA
Since the May 9 will be a special non-working holiday due to the elections, the number coding scheme will be suspended, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
The MMDA said this means all vehicles will be allowed out on the roads on that day.
But it also said the Pasig River River Ferry Service would not operate on May 9.
It would resume operations on May 10.
The ferry serves as an alternative means of travel in Metro Manila, especially for those who want to avoid traffick gridlocks on main roads.
