Rex Gatchalian summoned the private sector to help improve Valenzuela’s response to a raging fire on Saturday, April 9.

The mayor shared aerial shots of the giant fire that engulfed homes in the city that afternoon.

“I’m onsite sa fire kanina pa. All the fire trucks are here but @maynilad walang water pressure,” the politiko said. “We can’t fight this without water pressure.”

The fire at Dulong Tangke in Malinta went up to the second alarm and took 12 hours to put out.
