Caloocan Rep. Egay Erice took time off from his busy campaign schedule to witness the unveiling of the historical marker of San Roque Cathedral.

Joining Erice at the event were National Historical Commission of the Philippines Chairman Dr. Rene Escalante and officer in charge Executive Director Ms. Carminda Arevalo.

Also present were Caloocan Archbishop Rev. Pablo Virgilio S. David, D.D. and San Roque Cathedral parish priest Rev. Fr. Geronimo Cruz.

In a Facebook post, Erice said he is pushing for the cathedral’s declaration as a national historical site.
