Kaway-kaway! Find out why Charisse Abalos is part of ‘Team Langka’ on Valentine’s Day

Mandaluyong councilor Charisse Abalos celebrated Valentine’s Day alone this year.
In a February 14 Facebook post, Abalos gave a shout out to members of “Team Langka” or “langkadate” (without a date).
“Kaway-kaway sa mga Team Langka! Langkadate 🥺 Miss you, Gelo,” she said, tagging her husband, Aliaga, Nueva Ecija Mayor Gelo Vargas.
Abalos’ post included the hahstag, #LDR, which indicated that she wasn’t with Vargas that day.
Vargas’ absence is likely due to work, as he has to divide his time between Metro Manila and Nueva Ecija.
