As a mom, Mandaluyong councilor Charisse Abalos would rather receive practical gifts for her two sons even on special occasions such as Valentine’s Day.

In a Facebook post, Abalos shared the gift from her husband that made her “kilig”: A basket full of diapers and milk.

She said she also received some shopping money from her husband, which she plans to spend on Lazada.

“[B]onus nalang yung bouquet 💐(which is beautiful too!)” Abalos said.
