Senator Risa Hontiveros on Monday committed to fight for “good jobs” ahead of the 2022 polls.

The senator highlighted that she has in fact fought for the rights and welfare of the most important workers in this pandemic – the frontliners, the healthcare workers and non-medical personnel in hospitals.

The senator also stressed that one of the bills she co-authored institutionalizes benefits and allowances for health workers during health emergencies.

“This will be transmitted to Malacanang for the President’s signature.

Hontiveros committed that she will continue to protect and defend the welfare of workers from across sectors, such as fisherfolk and farmers, among others, underscoring the importance of dignity and decency of work as primary anchors for Covid-19 recovery.
