President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to reappear later this evening after he failed to deliver his Talk to the People address last week.
Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana confirmed to reporters that Duterte will meet some of his Cabinet members in Malacañang.
“Meron. 6 p.m.,” Lorenzana said in a briefing message.
On February 3, Malacañang revealed that the President, who was last seen in public on January 24, was self-isolating after being exposed to a household staff who tested positive for Covid-19.
He tested negative twice for the virus following the exposure, its statement said.
