Fresnedi gives interest-free loans to 200 ‘Muntipreneurs’

In a bid to help the economy recover amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi led on January 27 the distribution of loan assistance to so called “Muntipreneurs.”

The city government allotted a budget of P4.4 million for the 200 beneficiaries of Tulong Negosyo’s Batch 132, 133,134, & 135.

Of the total beneficiaries, four local entrepreneurs received P150,000 each, seven (7) received P100,000, while five received P75,000.

Fresnedi vowed to continue the loan assistance program for small entrepreneurs. Muntinlupa pioneered the micro-financing program called Tulong Negosyo.

Under the program, micro, small and medium enterprises can receive financial assistance ranging from P2,000 up to P150,000 depending on the business capital ceiling and payment record of beneficiaries. The program aims to provide additional capital for business expansion for aspiring and established business owners in Muntinlupa.
