Rex Gatchalian’s diet is facing a tough challenge due to this new branch of one of his favorite stores.

The Valenzuela mayor felt bittersweet upon learning that Lola Nena’s, maker of the iconic sugar donuts and pichi-pichi, now has a second branch in the city so close to his home.

“Lola naman eh! Alam mo naman diet ako tapos lapit ka ng lapit!,” the politiko said. “Somebody sent me this… 2nd Lola Nene’s branch in Valenzuela. Eto mga 3 mins away from where I live.”
