Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto Rubiano has signed the ordinance limiting the movement of unvaccinated individuals outside their homes amid the alarming rise in the number of COVID-19 cases.

Under the ordinance, unvaccinated individuals will only be allowed outside their homes to get essential goods such as groceries and medicine. They will also be allowed to access key services like medical appointments or government transactions.

Meanwhile, fully vaccinated persons can go out of their homes for any reasons. They are, however, reminded to bring their valid IDs and vaccination cards.

A person is considered fully vaccinated if he or she has completed the required dosage of the COVID-19 vaccine two weeks after the date indicated in the vaccination card.

The city government of Pasay has also reimposed the curfew for minors aged 17 years old and below from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
