Isko Moreno welcomes renewed enthusiasm for COVID-19 jabs in Manila
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno is elated that more people in the nation’s capital are lining up to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in light of rising cases in the country.
Moreno thanked the five local government agencies that have been working hard to ensure that Manila’s vaccination drive goes on uninterrupted. These are the Manila Health Department, the Manila Disaster Risk Response Management Office (MDRRMO), the City Engineering Office, the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) and the Bureau of Public Sanitation (BPS).
Pag hindi pa bakunado, most likely, mas mataas ang porsyento na mai-infect,” he said.
Moreno said the City of Manila has sufficient supplies of anti-Covid 19 drugs such as Remdesivir, Tocilizumab, Baricitinib and Molnupiravir.
Lahat pantay-pantay. They can avail these medicines. Basta mabuhay lang yung tao,” he said.
