Malapitan announces closure of local hospital’s OPD as COVID-19 cases rise
Oca Malapitan announced a major change in the operations of the Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) amid rising COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila.
The hospital’s outpatient department will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, January 3, 2022 as the region returns to the stricter Alert Level 3.
“Mananatili namang bukas at patuloy na magbibigay ng serbisyo ang Emergency Room ng CCMC. Para sa mga nais komunsulta sa pamamagitan ng TeleHealth ng CCMC, nasa larawan ang ating TeleHealth schedule,” the politiko added, seeing this as a safer alternative amid the threat of the Omicron variant.
