The city council of Mandaluyong was hard at work even on its final session day on December 28, passing key ordinances for the welfare of residents.

Mandaluyong councilor Charisse Abalos shared on Facebook snapshots of their final session, which was held in a hybrid manner due to the threat of COVID-19.

In the caption, she said that the city council was able to pass during the session the city’s 2022 budget, as well as the resolution granting cash assistance to fire victims in Pitong Gatang Street.

Abalos said the city’s 2022 budget will help fund the construction of a new hospital in Mandaluyong, as well as the application for accreditation of Mandaluyong College of Science & Technology from the Commission on Higher Education.
