Vico Sotto shocked long-time street sweepers and other contractual employees in Pasig City with a pay raise for Christmas.

During the city’s last flag-raising ceremony for 2021, the politiko announced that 215 employees from the city hall are getting a salary bump to P12,000 a month from the current P5,000 to P8,000 range.

They will now fulfill eight-hour workdays for the higher pay.

“Marami sa kanila ay STREET SWEEPER, makakatulong ito para mapunan ang kulang sa mga eskenita at HOA,” Sotto added.
