Safe ba for face-to-face classes? Stella Quimbo visits Marikina schools
Marikina Rep. Stella Quimbo recently made the rounds of public schools in the city’s second district as face-to-face classes resume on a limited run.
Among the schools visited by Quimbo were the St. Mary Elementary School and Parang High School, where she checked on the installation of new exhaust fans.
Quimbo asked school officials about the protocols they are following to ensure the safety of both students and teachers.
In a Facebook post, the lawmaker expressed hope that face-to-face classes can continue while maintaining the safety of stakeholders.
“Hangad ni Teacher Stella na ang mga estudyante, guro, at ibang school personnel ay protektado lalo na ngayong may pandemya,” Quimbo’s post read.
