Defensor: Ninoy Aquino Park can be like the night zoo of Singapore
Anakalusugan party-list and Quezon City mayoral candidate Mike Defensor is eyeing co-managing the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center and the La Mesa Eco Park.
Defensor said allowing the city government to infuse funds into the two parks would bring further development that would encourage more people to visit the area.
He said the Wildlife center could be developed like the night safari of Singapore.
“Yung Ninoy Aquino center ano yan eh 26 hectares, ito’y nasa ilalim ng DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources).
He said the improvement in La Mesa dam should also be continued.
Defensor pointed out that La Mesa dam could be a center of learning for those who wanted to know and experience nature and forestry.
