Tuloy lang sa pag-aaral! John Rey Tiangco assures more funds for NAVOTAAS scholars
The national government has allotted more funds for the scholarships of Vocational Training and Assessment (NAVOTAAS) Institute trainees, Navotas Rep. John Rey Tiangco has announced.
Tiangco shared the good news as the 79 NAVOTAAS trainees graduated from the institute. Of the 79, 33 completed Basic Visual Graphics and Design; 16, Contact Center Services NC II; nine, Automotive NC I; 13, Electrical Installation and Maintenance; and eight, Basic Korean Language and Culture.
“We have secured more funds for the scholarship of our trainees. Now that the quarantine restrictions have been relaxed, we hope that more Navoteños will enroll in our tech-voc courses,” the lawmaker said.
The NAVOTAAS Institute offers Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) and Special Training for Employment Program, which provide allowances and tool kits to trainees.
Graduates looking for jobs or wishing to put up their own businesses may seek assistance from the NAVOTAAS Hanapbuhay Center.
