Lani Cayetano proud of Taguig scholar who graduated magna cum laude from UP
Taguig Rep. Lani Cayetano is elated that one of the city government’s scholars finished college with flying colors.
Cayetano shared in a Facebook post the testimony of Bryan Servando, who graduated from the University of the Philippines with magna cum laude honors.
In the post’s caption, Cayetano said she and her husband, Taguig Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano, are committed to invest in the youth’s education—from pre-school until college.
“We envisioned the Taguig City’s scholarship program to be the key for our students in need to achieve their dreams,” she said.
“We have faith in the power of every student’s capacity to seek greater heights. We know that quality education will enable anyone to have an equal shot in life as everyone else. As long as our youth will continue to work on their passions with true grit and heart, like many of our Taguig scholars, their dreams are within arm’s reach,” the lawmaker added.
Cayetano said she shared Servando’s achievement to spread positivity and inspiration.
