Gian Sotto credits dad Tito for teaching him how to eat spicy food
Gian Sotto had a unique birthday greeting for his father, Senate President Tito Sotto.
The TV host turned politiko celebrated his 73rd birthday on August 24, and his son dug up a sweet photo from his childhood to show just how loving a dad Tito is.
“This picture says it all. I’ll never forget this moment na parang kahapon lang po. Paguwi ng bahay galing trabaho (dipende kung anong oras na pack up ang shooting niyo), kakain tayo ng dala-dala ninyong ulam, tapos kahit madaling araw na, gising parin ako at kakain sa platong pinagkainan niyo,” the Quezon City vice mayor said.
He even joked that it was through his dad where he learned to endure spicy food.
“Di ko talaga makakalimutan dahil dito rin akong natuto kumain ng sobrang anghang na Nilagang Baka. Hahaha! Kulang kasi yung isang sili sa patis na sawsawan niyo,” Gian added.
“Araw araw po akong nagpapasalamat sa Diyos for blessing me with best Dad anyone could ever dream of. Maraming maraming salamat po Dad sa lahat ng sakripisyo at pagmamahal na bigay ninyo sa Pamilya. I love you much po, Dad!”
