On the way to recovery: Isko Moreno’s condition stable after catching COVID-19
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno is slowly recovering from his bout with COVID-19, more than a week after testing positive for the virus.
Dr. Grace Padilla, officer-in-charge of the Sta. Ana Hospital where Moreno is confined, said Tuesday, August 24, that the mayor’s condition was stable.
“He (Moreno) thanked everyone for all the prayers and good wishes,” Padilla said in a statement.
Moreno also shared to reporters an infographic from the Department of Health (DOH) stating that a COVID-19 patient is deemed recovered 10 days after symptoms occur and there was no fever for three days. His condition must have also improved.
“May awa ang Diyos,” the mayor said.
