Abby Binay appeals for patience as Makati puts COVID-19 vaccination on pause
Makati Mayor Abby Binay has appealed for patience from residents waiting to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as delays in the delivery of vaccine supply have affected its rollout in the city.
In her July 12 column for Pilipino Star Ngayon, Binay said the COVID-19 vaccine supply received by the city government from the Department of Health is limited.
The mayor said the pace of the city’s vaccination rollout will pick up pace once its order of one million doses of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine arrives later this year.
