136K and counting: Camille Villar welcomes rising vaccination acceptance in Las Pinas

Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar revealed that 136,733 residents of her city have been vaccinated against COVID-19 as of June 14.
Villar said this is 35.3% higher compared to 101,059 recorded last June 8.
Of the total number of vaccinated individuals, 30,289 have already received their second dose.
“We continue to encourage our kababayans to get themselves vaccinated to help protect them against COVID-19 and the threats of new variants,” Villar said.
Villar, who was behind the vaccine incentive program dubbed “May Bahay sa Bakuna,” expressed gratitude to everyone who came forward to be vaccinated.
Las Piñas City has 588,849 population based on the 2015 census.
Meanwhile, The Tent at Vista Global South located along C5 Extension has been converted into a mega vaccination facility.
It can accommodate more than 2,000 vaccine recipients daily and is one of the largest vaccination sites in Metro Manila.
Other vaccination sites in the city include CAA Elementary School Main, Las Piñas Elementary School Central, Gatchalian Covered Court, Pamplona Elementary School Central, Verdant Covered Court, Golden Acres Covered Court, Bambusetum Covered Court BFRV, San Antonio Covered Court, Almanza Uno Covered Court, T.S. Cruz Covered Court, SM Southmall, SM Center, University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Gymnasium, Las Piñas Doctors Hospital, Village Square and Robinsons Las Piñas.
