For convenient appointments: Abby Binay teams up with Ayala Corp, Megaworld for more vax sites

Makati Mayor Abby Binay has partnered with Ayala Corp. and Megaworld Corp. to put up COVID-19 vaccination sites in their malls as the inoculation of essential workers starts.

Binay recently led the opening of a new vaccination site at the Ayala-owned Glorietta 5 mall, which will cater to individuals belonging to the A4 priority group.

She said another dedicated vaccination site will be opened at the San Lorenzo Place mall on Friday, June 11.

“We have made these strategic partnerships with the private sector to accommodate the expected influx of vaccine registrants from the A4 category. We laud the Ayala Corporation and Megaworld Corporation for readily sharing their resources as we begin another critical phase in the Bakuna Makati mass vaccination program,” Binay said.

The mayor said that the city government’s vaccination campaign will get another boost in July with the arrival of one million vaccine doses that it ordered.

“We need to ensure fast yet safe vaccination against COVID-19 for our economic frontliners so that businesses in the city can continue to recover and thrive, thus fueling faster economic recovery,” Binay said.
