Lino Cayetano shares Taguig’s ‘secret weapon’ in fighting pandemic
Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano is proud of the city’s “secret weapon” in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
In his April 24 column for the tabloid Abante, Cayetano said the city’s barangay health centers are equipped to respond to a wide array of medical concerns.
Cayetano said the barangay health workers were also trained to conduct RT-PCR tests for COVID-19.
In addition to 31 barangay health centers, the mayor said Taguig has three “super health centers” with lying-in clinics, medical laboratories, an animal bite center and an ambulance.
