Bayan Muna Rep. Eufemia Cullamat urged the government to realign the P265 million fund for the second phase of the Manila Bay Beach Nourishment Project.

Cullamat said a lot of people need assistance from the government yet it is spending hundreds of millions to a beautification project.

While claiming that the project is good for the environment, Cullamat said the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is also damaging the environment.

“Kailan ba sila titigil?

Cullamat pointed out that the government should know its priorities and that should be to help the needy.
