Malayo man malapit din: Oca Malapitan calls for unity vs COVID-19 in virtual mass
Caloocan Mayor Oca Malapitan urged the public to work together to fight COVID-19 in a virtual mass held on April 28 to remember government employees who passed away due to the pandemic.
Malapitan said that while people are forced to be apart because of COVID-19, the crisis is also an opportunity for everyone to unite to help others.
The mass was celebrated by Bishop Pablo Virgilio David at the San Roque Cathedral.
In keeping with government guidelines, only select government employees were physically present at the cathedral to fill the 10 percent seating capacity.
