Jab and go: Joy Belmonte announces drive-thru vaccination for PUV drivers
Drivers of public utility vehicles (PUVs) in Quezon City will now have a much more convenient way of getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte on Saturday, May 1, led the launching of the drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination for PUV drivers.
Quezon City Health Department head Dr. Esperanza Arias said the drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination will be activated once the city government receives the go-signal for the inoculation of individuals belonging to the A4 priority group, which includes transportation workers, market vendors, and overseas Filipino workers, among others.
To mark Labor Day, hundreds of tricycle drivers and representatives from the economic workforce, including overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines in Quezon City.
