Good jab! Gian Sotto urges QC residents to get COVID-19vaccine
Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto has called on residents to register for COVID-19 vaccination as more supplies are delivered to the city.
Iin a Facebook post, Sotto said getting the vaccine will help medical frontliners since protection from the virus will mean less patients going to the hospital.
“Sa hindi pa nakakakuha ng kanilang schedule, humihingi po kami ng pasensya at pang-unawa habang hinihintay ang susunod na batch ng mga vaccines,” he said.
The vice mayor urged residents to “stay safe and keep strong” as everyone continues to face the COVID-19 pandemic.
Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte recently reported that a total of 106,395 residents, healthcare workers, and other members of the priority sectors have received their first doses of COVID-19 vaccines, either Sinovac or AstraZeneca.
