Caloocan Rep. Along Malapitan announced that he’s willing to be injected with the COVID-19 vaccine in public to ease residents’ doubts about its safety and efficacy.

Malapitan said he’s willing to be inoculated with any brand of COVID-19 vaccine that has been cleared for use by the Food and Drug Administration.

The city government of Caloocan has entered into a tripartite agreement with the national government and AstraZeneca for the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines.
